Yawning Man

About Yawning Man

Yawning Man
"That whole era of Yawning Man is a true reflection of what was happening in the desert during the mid to late 80's. We were so fresh to our instruments and naive to anything outside the desert and not even remotely interested in record labels or publishings and percentages and the all business end of music." "Actually Alfredo and myself started the band. We were playing months before we put bass into the music. We were all roommates and Alfredo and myself were unemployed. So during the day we would jam with just guitar and drums coming up with music. Eventually after a few months of this, Mario joined in on bass and later Larry would join on second guitar."
